German automaker BMW has been a well known name in the four-wheeler segment. Bikers across the globe would also be familiar with the company’s technological potential in the two-wheeler segment. Moving a step ahead in technological advancements, the company has unveiled it first roadster under 500cc bearing the name ‘BMW G 310 R’. The bike has been designed and developed for both dynamic performance and comfort, both in town and out in the country.
The BMW G 310 R is powered by 313 cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine that generates about 33bhp at 9,500 rpm and 28Nm of torque at 7,500 rpm. For safety the bike gets High-performance brake system and ABS as standard. Additionally, the G 310 R instrument cluster has a large liquid crystal display that offers excellent clarity and a wide range of information. For complete control the bike gets 110/70 R 17 tyre for front, while the rear gets 150/60 R 17.
On the design aspect, the new BMW G 310 R gets small headlamp mask with striking headlamp, dynamically modelled fuel tank trim elements and characteristic roadster proportions with a striking front section and dynamic rear that offers a matured on-road presence. The upside-down fork, quality materials, supplementary fittings and excellent workmanship renders the bike a premium upmarket feel.
