The Indian subsidiary of the German car maker BMW has introduced a unique concept of BMW Mobile Showrooms to expand its reach to the potential customers in the emerging markets of the country. This initiative will allow the buyers in unexplored markets to get the first hand experience of the brand, test drive BMW models and interact with the industry experts. These mobile showrooms will visit those cities wherein the company foresees the potential in buyers. Across seven different states of the country, the BMW Mobile Showrooms will cover the areas of Karnal (Haryana), Agra (Uttar Pradesh), Jamshedpur (Jharkhand), Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh), Dehradun (Uttarakhand), Nashik (Maharashtra) and Patna (Bihar).

Commenting on the initiative, President of BMW Group India, Dr. Andreas Schaaf, stated, “BMW India is the pioneer in bringing luxurious dealerships to India. We are the first luxury car manufacturer in India to take this experience a step ahead and closer to our customers in the emerging markets with the BMW Mobile Showroom. Today, BMW India has millions of fans and many of them come from emerging cities. With this unique travelling showroom, we wish to bring as many customers to the BMW fold and make them experience BMW and the sheer driving pleasure.”

Furthermore, the German car maker is providing an additional support to its customers by offering 100 per cent financing solution on its complete range of BMW Mobile Showrooms. This attempt is made by the customer-centric financing arm of German auto giant, BMW Financial Services.

Reflecting the trend of the company's luxurious showrooms, the mobile dealerships will be weather proof and air conditioned establishments. These showrooms will come replete with a 4 car display podium, reception counter and a VIP lounge. Through these mobile showrooms, the Bavarian-based car marque will offer its 3 Series, 5 Series, X1, X3 and X5 for the test drives.

Depending on the regions, the dealerships will also display models like BMW 7 Series, 6 Series, X6 and the Z4, which are currently routed in the country as Completely Built Units (CBU). As of now, the car maker has a strong dealership network of 25 outlets in the Indian auto market; however, the company is gearing up to expand the count to 40 by the end of this year.

The BMW Mobile Dealerships is presently being navigated at the Hotel Noormahal in Karnal, Haryana until August 18, 2012. The official manager of the dealership at Karnal is the Krishna Automobile of Chandigarh.
