The 1 Series may not be doing all that well here in India; however, it sells in big numbers in Europe. Besides working on an entirely new generation, BMW has just updated the current 1 Series with special edition models, improved interior and more tech.
In terms of engine range, the 1 Series can be had with a choice of petrol and diesel engines, comprising three, four and six-cylinder variants. Additionally, the M140i, 118d and 120d can be specified with all-wheel drive for better traction.
As for the new additions to the line-up, the special edition models include the Edition Sport Line Shadow, Edition M Sport Shadow and M140i Edition Shadow. These editions stand out from their siblings with a kidney grille painted in black, LED headlights with black inserts and darkened rear lights which likewise feature LED technology. The Edition M Sport Shadow has black exhaust tailpipes, too. Other updates include different wheel sizes and designs depending on the model.
The new editions of the BMW 1 Series are already on sale across Europe in 3-door and 5-door versions.
