German auto giant BMW has reportedly been working on a car that can deliver an unbelievable 250 Kmpl efficiency figures! To achieve this, the vehicle would utilize an electric motor that would be mated to a 2-cylinder scooter engine that shall probably serve as a generator. Based somewhat on the lines of BMW's Range Extender i3, the vehicle also utilizes body and chassis that has been made using Carbon Fibre Reinforced Polymer material.
Sources have indicated that the vehicle would also serve as a practical choice for commuting. The vehicle can accommodate about 4 individuals and also holds a boot space of about 348 Liters. It is also indicated that the CO2 emission numbers would remain around 10 Grams per kilometer mark, thereby also making it an ecofriendly option.
