The Indian unit of the German auto giant BMW, which is all set to launch its small luxury car brand MINI in the Indian market, is expected to roll-out the car in a sedan version also. If the recent reports published in the FT Deutschland are to be believed, the company is all set to surprise the car enthusiasts by launching a sedan version of the car in the coming years. The iconic car brand Mini was acquired by BMW in year 1994, and since then it has been registering a considerable surge in the popularity of this small luxury car brand.

After being acquired by BMW about 2 decades back, this British car brand MINI has been witnessing extensive changes over the years. However, the iconic design and status of the Mini car brand was never changed. But this time around, if company decides to carry forward with its plans of launching an all new sedan version of Mini, there would be a danger of Mini brand losing its charm among its large fan following.

Meanwhile, Mini brand is all set to mark its debut in the Indian auto market in the coming months. A range of Iconic Mini cars were showcased at the recently held Delhi International Auto Expo 2012, where a large number of car enthusiasts were present there to get a glimpse of the car.
