German luxury car maker BMW is looking to enhance its portfolio by adding a new sedan and two Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) in its line up. X7, X8 and the CS II concept are the new future cars being considered by the automotive giant. The company will be positioning each new model above its present Flagship line of 7 Series.

The current X5 and 7 series models are expected to lending several components to the company's new X7 SUV. According to rumours, once launched in the market, this SUV from the company will compete with the Land Rover Range Rover. The new BMW X7 will not just a buffed up X5 but will have a host of luxury features. Along with much more plush interiors, the car will feature an inclined roofline that will enhance its looks. This proposed concept car may be inspired from the X5 but will employ cutting-edge technologies in terms of materials and engine specifications, thus making it appropriate for the luxury SUV segment.

Another concept SUV is also in the planning phase, alongside the X5-based X7 crossover model, called the X8. This proposed vehicle, if brought into production, will have a carbon fibre body and will be the four door coupe version of the X7, even though there is only a slight chance that the company will manufacture it. The biggest rumour is that the German auto maker is trying to bridge the gap that exists between it and British ultra luxury car manufacturer Rolls Royce with the CS II concept car. If launched, this sedan will be placed above the current top-of-the-line 7 Series and will be a good addition to its line up.

Along with these, the company is also mulling over bringing forward the extra Long Wheelbase (LWB) version of the 7 Series sedan. However, the chances of this proposed vehicle seeing the light of the day are extremely slim.
