German automaker has launched the newly upgraded M6 Gran Coupe in India for Rs 1.71 Crore (Ex-showroom, Delhi). The carmaker has also launched a new BMW M Studio showroom in Mumbai that would showcase cars from the company's M performance division. The new facelift model has been positioned in straight line of competition with the Audi RS7.
The BMW M6 Gran Coupe gets a 4.4-litre, twin-turbo V8 engine mated to 7-speed M-DCT gearbox that generates about 552bhp and 680Nm of torque. The vehicle is limited to a top speed of about 250 km/h and clock a 0-100 km/h in just about 4.2 seconds. The company shall launch M Studios dealerships in other major cities like Chennai, Pune, Delhi, Bengaluru, Ahmedabad, and Hyderabad. This month, BMW may also launch the X5M and X6M models in India.
In terms of fresh upgrades the BMW M6 Gran Coupe gets cosmetic upgrades in form of – new adaptive LED headlights that compliment the new kidney grill design. The taillight also gets tweaks to give a the new model a fresh appeal. The interiors reflect high standards and refinement that the brand has always stood for.
