      BMW India opens new showroom in Chennai

      The 37th showroom of BMW in India has been opened in the capital city of Chennai. Named as KUN Exclusive, the showroom is situated at the Express Avenue Mall on Whites Road. This exclusive showroom is presided by Vasanthi Bhupati who holds the post of Director at KUN dealers. It encompasses an area of 3014 square feet and has the capacity to display six cars. Following the signature layout of BMW sales showroom, its designing is also based on the ‘Urban Street Display’. Just the way all other outlets have sales lounges close to the display area, this showroom also has the lively and attractive Isetta bar. This happens to be the most interesting section of the showroom where customers can consult, interact and discuss matter over cups of coffee or beverages.

      On the eve of inauguration of the showroom, Philipp von Sahr, President, BMW Group India was quoted as saying, “BMW is the most admired premium auto manufacturer and has continued to set new benchmarks in India. The new facility is not merely an extension of our operations in Chennai but is a firm commitment to serve our customers. Our partnership with KUN Exclusive will allow us to consistently expand and strengthen our position in not just an important market but also in the home of BMW Plant in India.”

      Vasanthi Bhupati of KUN Exclusive told the media that her partnership with BMW India began six years ago and the roots of this deal is based on bringing immensely high standards and good facilities in the field of sales and services of premium cars of the country. She acknowledged BMW India for its growth in the market and is looking forward to create further deals with the auto major so as to continue the mutual benefit and success. KUN Exclusive also has its showroom at Coimbatore and Hyderabad. Interestingly, BMW India has drawn out a plan for itself according to which it will set up high class showrooms and dealerships across all metropolitan and important cities of the country. The company officials have revealed that high standard sales and services have been set to lure customers at a high pace. The firm is going to expand its sales network and by the end of 2014, the count of total outlets across all metropolitan cities would reach 50 from the present 37.

      Bayerische Motoren Werke AG, popularly known as BMW AG or BMW, is a German auto major found in 1916. BMW India was found in 2006 and has its head quarters at Gurgaon, Delhi NCR. It has a production facility at Chennai and has been performing well in the Indian auto market. Owing to the positive response it is getting in the domestic market, it has full plans to tap in the potential market by widening its dealerships. Recently, the company scored over Mercedes-Benz and Audi on the aspect of sales satisfaction as per J.D. Power Asia Pacific 2013 India Sales Satisfaction Index Study. It topped the charts by scoring 881 points while Mercedes-Benz India secured 872 and Audi scored 866. With continuous efforts in the domestic market, the company has definitely won the toss against its rivals on dealer facility, sales initiation and sales person facilities.
