This rise in prices will be applied from the 15th of August 2013. It should be noted that the company raised the price of its vehicles in January 2013, making this the second instance. The company has decided to provide assistance to buyers who want to purchase the BMW or MINI car before the 15th of August. BMW Financial Services is going to offer a number of finance solutions to customers. These financing options are likely to be customised according to the preference of buyers, which will enable them to find best possible deal for their dream cars. BMW Financial Services India, along with its Indian cooperation partner, will also be involved in the provision of BMW Lease for both, individuals and corporate buyers.

Currently, BMW India has around 35 dealerships across the country, a number that it hopes to expand to 50 in coming years. The company wants to continue its good performance in the country by attracting more and more customers. Notably, the Germany-based group launched the Mini Hatch, Convertible and Country models, which are a part of its Mini brand, in India in January 2012. Company officials said that India is the 100th market that happens to be a part of the network selling Mini cars across the globe. While the Countryman is produced at the Chennai plant, the other two cars are imported as Completely Built Units (CBUs). The Chennai facility is also involved in the manufacturing of 3 Series, 7 Series, X1, 5 Series and X3 models. On the other hand, cars like X5, X6, Gran Turismo and 6 Series Gran Coupe are routed in the Indian auto market as CBUs.
