There are a few car manufacturing companies that overpower a lot of its competitors in terms of quality and style. One such company that puts a lot of efforts in styling, and an equal amount of effort in improvising the quality of the vehicle they produce is Mitsubishi. This time, the company has been working day and night on the new generation of their bestseller, Mitsubishi Pajero Sport, which as per the speculations, will be released next year.

This new Mitsubishi Pajero Sport will have a design inspired from the latest GR-HEV concept, which was first unveiled in 2013. Mitsubishi Pajero Sport’s new model is being called a renovation and addition of styling to its older variant and will be unveiled in Thailand pretty soon. This new variant will come with an upright grille, larger air dam, and a skid plate. A lot of details of the new variant are the same as that of the previous one. The cabin of this new variant along with the fabrication work on the vehicle seems to be inspired from Mitsubishi’s Triton, which is a pick-up truck.

Other than these minor yet effective additions, the new generation Mitsubishi Pajero Sport will have a touchscreen infotainment system followed by features like keyless entry and start, powered wing mirrors, climate control, rear parking sensors, reversing cameras, powered front seats, etc. All these features add up to form a big bowl of surprise for all the Mitsubishi enthusiasts who plan to drive home in this brand new Mitsubishi Pajero Sports.

It’s being said that this vehicle will get its power from a 2.4L MIVEC turbo-diesel engine having the capacity to churn out 178 BHP of power along with 43.85 kgm of torque. The vehicle will be available in a 6-speed manual transmission system or a 5-speed automatic transmission system to choose from.

India has a market for such SUVs, and Mitsubishi Pajero Sport is one of the leaders of this market. On being launched in India, the vehicle will be giving an even stiffer competition to vehicles like Toyota Fortuner and Ford Endeavour.
