In the beginning, Bentley proudly claimed that its Bentayga is the most luxurious and powerful SUV existing in the market. With a price tag of Rs 3.85 crore (ex-showroom Delhi), you might be forced to believe that Bentley would havesatback and relaxed.
However, reports state that Bentley’s CEO Wolfgang Dürheimer has revealed at the Beijing Motor Show that the market can expect a ‘Speed’ version of the Bentayga too. Though there’s no confirmation about how much power the Bentayga Speed could make, we found out that most ‘Speed’ iterations have a bump up of between 30bhp and 65bhp compared to their regular models. Put the Bentayga through the same calculation and we can safely expect a power increase of 45bhp - 55bhp. With 600bhp already available in the present car, we can accept that this SUV will break the current acceleration and top speed barriers.Bentley launched the Bentayga in India on 22nd April and it will be interesting to see if the luxury car maker gets the Bentayga Speed here too.
