Bentley is all set to launch a high-performance, frontal-engine, double-seat sports GT concept model at the Geneva Motor Show in March. His concept car will essentially be a sneak peek to a new model, which will be capable of rivalling sports cars from famed manufacturers like Aston martin and Ferrari. It is expected that the concept car will be powered by a specially designed Audi-sourced 500 bhp 4.0-litre twin turbo V8 mill.

It is expected that Bentley is under the process of developing this model to understand the requirements and reaction of customers. The first time this new model was mentioned was by the returning CEO Wolfgang Dürheimer during a press conference in 2014, when he threw some light on the production possibility of this car. It is expected that the new model will be placed alongside the Continental GT, unlike the popular belief of that the car will be placed below it.

There were also reports at the press conference about the production chances of a sedan to be placed between the Mulsanne and Continental Flying Spur. There have been plethora of suggestions after that, and a more compact sedan as compared to the full-sized Bentayga, is expected to hit international markets in the forthcoming year.

The new GT will probably put to use the Volkswagen Group’s MSB and its flexible architecture, which is designed for cars of all types, which are positioned above the Audi range. The mid-engine engineering layout would be put to application by Bentley’s recent tryst with GT3 racing cars.
