Bentley has launched new Flying Spur V8 model in India within a year of launch of Flying Spur in domestic market. The all new Flying Spur V8 is priced at Rs 3.1 crore (ex-showroom Delhi). Bentley had put the new Flying Spur V8 model for public display at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show held earlier this year in March. Under the hood, Bentley has equipped an athletic high displacement 4.0 litre twin-turbo V8 gasoline engine. The mighty 4.0 litre petrol engine is capable of developing a towering power of 500 Bhp at 6,000 RPM and a top torque of 660 Nm at 1,750 RPM. Power is sent to all four wheels through an eight-speed automatic gearbox. The engine offers excellent performance and accelerates from 0 to 100 kmph within 5.2 seconds. A top speed of 295 kmph is achieved by the muscular vehicle. Bestowed with cylinder deactivation technology, in one full tank of fuel the new V8 model offers a range of 700 km. Flying Spur is now available in India in V8 and W12 options. Features that differ V8 from W12 include eight chrome exhaust pipes, a red centre in the Bentley Wings and black colour lower front bumper grilles.
