      Bajaj V15 spotted at dealership, bookings open ahead of March launch

      Bajaj V, the newest of the lot from the Indian bikemaker had made news earlier this month owing to claims of its metal being sourced from decommissioned Indian warship INS Vikrant. Back at the launch event, Mr. Eric Vas, President Motorcycle business stated, “The Bajaj V shall usher a new era in commuter motorcycling. We believe the Indian customers buying a commuter motorcycles deserves something that is substantial, solid and which moves with a sense of purpose. The V was designed and built to be invincible, and will change the experience of commuter biking much like the Pulsars changed sports biking.”

      As per fresh update, the bike has arrived at dealership outlet in country and bookings for the same have commenced. The Bajaj V15 would be up on sale from March this year. On the pricing aspect the bike would offered around Rs 65,000 – Rs 75,000. It would be offered in two color options Ebony Black and Pearl White. Some of unique aspect about the bike are dual color LED fuel level indicator, removable rear seat cowl, elegant taillamp assembly and new speedometer cluster.

      The bike would be powered by 149.5cc single cylinder, 4-stroke SOHC 2 valve air cooled engine that has been tuned to generate about 12 bhp of power at 7,500 rpm and 13 Nm of torque at 5,500. Additionally, it features 55/60W trapezoidal headlamps that offers 60% brighter illumination than the rest in this segment. The Bajaj V offeres a fine balance between style and performance aspect.
