Bajaj Pulsar is among the top range of motorcycles in India and is marketed by Bajaj Auto. This two-wheeler was developed mainly by the engineers of Bajaj Auto in collaboration with the Research and Development of Tokyo. Later on, motorcycle designer Glynn Kerr also put in inputs for the manufacturing and development of this product. Currently, there are five different engine models available in the market – 135 cc, 150 cc, 180 cc, 200 cc and the 220 cc. There was a 200 cc DTS-i model available previously for the bike; however, it was later discontinued. Instead of this variant, Bajaj offered a new Pulsar 200NS in 2012.

Bajaj Pulsar was arguably the trendsetter in the market, when it launched its first bike. Previously, Indian market was all about smaller bikes in the range of 80-125 cc. Except for the Royal Enfield Bullet, there were no bigger or higher-performing bikes in the market. Once it was first launched in India, the demand for such higher performing and bigger bikes was realised. Bajaj took the hint heads-up and subsequently launched the Pulsar models in the country.

Bajaj Pulsar 135LS DTS-i generates a maximum power of 13.5 PS with a torque output of 11.4 Nm. The Pulsar 150 DTS-i churns out a maximum of 15.06 PS along with an impressive torque of 12.76 Nm. When combined with its stylish looks, bright colours and bold appearance, the Pulsar won many hearts across the nation. Later on, the Pulsar 200 and 220 were also launched, which were a winner all across the country. At the Auto Expo 2014 in New Delhi, Bajaj unveiled Pulsar 375 cc, which showed the future of this immensely popular range of motorcycles.
