      Power bikes are a new craze in the Indian two wheeler market. Things definitely get competitive when two renowned Indian bikemakers compete against each other in the 250cc segment. Bajaj terms its Pulsar 220F as its ‘Fastest Indian’, whereas Hero MotoCorp terms the Karizma ZMR as ‘Always Game’.

      Hero MotoCorp has unveiled its facelifted version of Karizma ZMR at the recently held Auto Expo event in Delhi. The upcoming bike has retained the 223 cc engine as seen in its older version, but the engine has been refined further to produces slightly higher power figures at 20 bhp with 19.7 Nm of torque. The designing cues for this bike also seem to share some resemblance with the bikes from Erik Buell Racing. The front fascia with vertically stacked headlamps makes the bike looks slightly bigger than the previous version and broad tires have been retained for this power packed beast. The bike has majorly received cosmetic upgrades which make it look a bit leaner and sporty. The rear tail light LED assembly is also something to look out for in this machine. Hero MotoCorp has also not revealed the exact date of launch for the ZMR series, a confirmed date can be expected only an official announcement is made by the company stating the same.

      Bajaj Pulsar 220F is powered by 220 cc 4-stroke, DTS-i, oil cooled, single cylinder engine that generates an amazing 21.05 Ps of power with 19.12 Nm of torque output. For comfortable ride, the bike has received Telescopic, with anti-friction bush suspension for the front, whereas the rear is blessed with 5 way adjustable, Nitrox shock absorber. For maximum control at high speeds the bike has received 260mm Disc brake for the front wheels along with the 230mm Disc brake for the rear wheel. Moreover, 17inch tubeless tires further add-on to the control factor. The bike comes with an attractive price tag of Rs. 79,104 (ex-showroom Pune).
