Bajaj's Pulsar 200 NS has been a huge hit in the Indian market. The stylish naked sport design has gone down well especially among the youth in the country who have been on a constant lookout for machines with power and bold styling. To take the biking experience to a whole new level, Bajaj Motorcycles has has been working on bringing a new Pulsar 200 with a fully faired pattern front and new set of headlamps. The upcoming bike shall be rechristened as 'Pulsar 200 SS'. On numerous occasions the bike has been spotted undergoing road tests in the country. Reportedly, the Pulsar 200 SS production version has also made way to dealership outlets in the country.
The seats in the new Bajaj Pulsar 200 SS appear to be wider than before for maximum comfort and good seating position. The bike has received telescopic forks for the front, whereas the rear tyre has received a mono-suspension. Moreover, the boomerang shaped tail light is also something to look out for in the upcoming version. The 200SS is said to be powered by a 200cc engine that generates about 25PS of power with 20 Nm of peak torque output. The powerful engine is expected to be mated to a six speed gearbox. Based on spy images, it is believed that the bike may get ABS technology and a digital console with analogue set to the left side, and a complete digital display being positioned to the right.
Details on the pricing aspect and launch date shall only be known post an official announcement made by the company in this regard, but we anticipate this bike to be launched sometime around the festive season this year. Apart from this, news has also been doing rounds that Bajaj may bring-in the Pulsar 400 SS and Pulsar 400 CS that grabbed a lot of eyeballs at the Auto Expo event, sometime soon in the Indian market.
