The Bajaj Platina has been updated to BSlV spec, and with it, Bajaj has added an LED DRL strip to comply with the government's always-on headlamp requirements. The cost of the updated Platina ComforTec LED DRL is Rs 46,656, ex-showroom, Delhi.
This makes it the first motorcycle in the 100-150cc segment to sport an LED DRL according to the company. However, scooters like the Honda Dio and Honda Activa 125 sport LED DRLs as well. It is available in two colours - black with silver decals, and deep red with red decals. One can also opt for a Platina with spoke rims or alloy rims. It sports a 102cc engine that generates 8bhp and 8.6Nm through a four-speed gearbox. The company claims a fuel efficiency of 90kpl.The Platina ComforTec with LED DRLs is available immediately from all Bajaj dealerships across the country.
The Platina competes with the likes of the TVS Sport, Hero HF Deluxe, Suzuki Hayate EP, Honda Dream Neo and Yamaha Saluto.
