Indian bike-maker, Bajaj has launched new Discover 150 bike in India priced at Rs 51,720 (ex-showroom Pune). New Discover 150 is rolled out in three variants, besides this, a semi-faired version dubbed, 150 F has also been spawned. The semi faired version is tagged at Rs 58,739 (edx-showroom Pune). The 150 S Disk variant on the other hand is available for Rs 54,725. On the other hand the standard 150 S version of the bike is proffered in two trims- 150-S STD with drum brake and 150 S Disk with disc brake.
Resemblance can be seen with Discover 125 in terms of design, although new body graphics and colours have been added to the new Discover 150. A 10-spoke alloy wheels and analogue instrument console have been equipped in the bike. Power is generated through a new 150cc, four stroke, single-cylinder, air-cooled, four valve engine. While power is channelized to the rear wheel through a five-speed transmission.
New Discover 150 boasts length of 2038mm, width of 714mm, height of 1070mm, wheelbase of 1305mm, saddle height of 795mm and finally ground clearance of 165mm. In the front, telescopic fork suspension and at rear monshock suspension have been fitted. Drum and disc brakes are equipped in new Discover 150 range (depends of the variant one picks).
