A recent report by IndianAutosBlog has claimed that popular Indian two-wheeler manufacturer Bajaj Auto has again launched the CT 100 bike in India. The much-famed company has made certain changes that are cosmetic in nature along with a minor alteration to the price.
The new Bajaj CT 100 is expected to be available to buyers at a price of INR 35801 (ex-showroom). Sources claim that not only has the bike been launched, dealers have begun receiving the new model and sales expected to commence soon.
Bajaj CT 100’s new version is fitted with the same four-stroke engine that has a single cylinder and a total capacity of 99.27 cc. It is capable of churning out a maximum output of 8.2 BHP and peak torque of 8.05 Nm. the cosmetic changes made in the Bajaj CT 100 include alloy wheels and new graphics.
Experts believe that 2015 is going to be a crucial year for Bajaj Auto with several launches imminent. After launching the CT 100, the Indian firm is preparing to introduce the Bajaj Pulsar 200 SS and Pulsar CS400 in the domestic market. Bajaj Auto is betting big on the Pulsar 200 SS to perform exceptionally well in India and strike an immediate chord with youngsters. On the other hand, the Pulsar CS400, though with a limited target customer base, should be able to stand up to the likes of KTM Duke 390 and Kawasaki Ninja.
