      Bajaj Auto launches two new websites for Qute quadricycle

      The Qute quadricycle has been spotted on test on a numerous occasions. Ahead of Supreme Court’s approval for its sale in India, the company has launched two websites – Support for Qute launch and the other for overview on the Qute. The quadricycle has been termed as greener, cost effective and safer alternative as compared to three-wheelers. The vehicle claims to return a fuel efficiency of about 36km/l and emits about 66 gm of CO2 per km.

      The Bajaj Qute is powered by 217 cc, 4-valve, liquid cooled, closed loop fuel injected, four-stroke engine that generates about 13bhp of power at 5,500 rpm and 19.6Nm of torque at about 4,000 rpm. The engine comes mated to five speed manual gearbox and is capable of attaining a top speed of about 70 km/h. In terms of dimensions, it measures about 1,312 mm in width, 2,752 mm in length and about 1,650 mm in height. The Qute gets a wheelbase measuring about 1,925mm.
