Bajaj Auto has officially proclaimed launch date of new KTM RC 200 and RC 390 bikes in domestic market. As speculated Bajaj Auto will launch both the bikes in India on September 9, 2019. Bookings for both the bikes will commence following the launch while deliveries are likely to start in October. Bajaj has styled both the bikes aesthetically and hence they vary relatively from their naked siblings in terms of styling. Modifications such as twin-head lights, reworked fuel tank, mirror mounted turn indicators, revamped tail section among others have been rendered on both the bikes.
Power is supplied to the KTM RC 200 bike through a 200 cc, single cylinder engine that is capable of producing a top power of 25 Bhp along with a top torque of 19 Nm. On the other hand the RC 390 is housed with a 372 cc engine that pumps out a maximum power output 43 Bhp along with a peak torque of 35 Nm. A six-speed manual transmission is mated to the engines in both the bikes that is responsible for transmitting power to the rear wheels.
Feature rich RC models of both the bikes are expected to cost a tad higher than their regular versions. Also styling has been done distinctively making RC variants look more appealing visually. Speculations suggest that both RC models could cost around Rs 40,000 to Rs 50,000 more than their usual models. However, actual pricing details will be revealed on the day of the launch.
