Apart from displaying India-oriented four wheelers, auto giant Mahindra & Mahindra sets the stage for the launch of its all-new Duro DZ scooter model, along with MGP30 racing motorcycle, at the January Delhi Auto Expo.
"The Mahindra Duro DZ is a tough and powerful scooter designed specifically for Indian road conditions. The Duro DZ is the result of our R&D team working closely with consumers and extensive testing," Anoop Mathur, President, Mahindra Two Wheelers, stated. Ruzbeh Irani, Executive Vice-President, Corporate Strategy and Chief Brand Officer, Mahindra & Mahindra, confirmed that Mahindra Racing is gearing up for the debut of its Moto3 challenger, the MGP30 in the country.
Mahindra is likely to take the centre stage in terms of racing bikes as the maker is the first Indian manufacturer to foray into MotoGP Motorcycle Racing Championship in 2011. In total, approximately 50 new two wheelers, cars, buses and trucks will be displayed at the Auto Expo 2012 that starts from 5th January 2011.
The 11th edition of the largest automotive show in Asia is organised by the joint efforts of Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM), Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and Automotive Component Manufacturers Association of India (ACMA). The expo is expected to welcome around 1,500 exhibitors from 24 countries, showcasing new technologies and advanced models.
