Maruti Suzuki unwrapped the compact SUV XA Alpha at the premium Auto event in Delhi, The Auto Expo 2012. The XA Alpha looks something that the Mahindra XUV500 should expect a fight with. Though, it’s a concept version and the pricing was not revealed, we expect a enthusiastic price for this one.
The X in the name, as usual stands for crossover, while the A is for those who would opt for a UV for the first time. Designed aggressively with the “Indian Martial Arts wrestling theme, It took 9 months for the team to get this into flesh from scratch. 5 Indian designers have contributed in this along with their Japanese counterparts. The model displayed is basically a prototype and intends to collect feedback of all based on which the Japanese major will take a decision. We assume seeing the hot response from all and the media, Maruti would be betting soon on this one.
