BMW, the German auto giant has revealed that it will showcase its Convertible and Countryman models at the Mini pavilion at Auto Expo 2012. According to the company’s press release, BMW’s Auto Expo line-up will also consist of F10 BMW M5 sports sedan and a limited edition BMW Individual 7-Series Composition, which will reflect the style of the famous piano manufacturer Steinway & Sons. Moreover, BMW Vision ConnectedDrive concept study will also be revealed at the exposition.
The launch of Mini in India will be a major show stealer. Mini will make its debut as a premium brand in India and the price of its cars is expected to be over Rs. 20 lacs. Mini Hatch, a new Countryman and Convertible will be displayed at Hall no. 9 at Pragati Maidan.
The Mini Coupe is accessible in various configurations, from the very basic Mini One to much sportier Cooper models. The Mini Countryman is comparatively new in the line and is available in two-wheel drive configuration, along with the standard four-wheel drive version. The cars will be imported in India as Completely Built Units (CBUs) and will bear a hefty price tag.
