Audi has refreshed the A6 and A7 models in their line-up. Even though the A6 went through a mid-life facelift last year, the Ingolstadt-based company has decided to update them further to help them keep up with newer competition. Inside the cabin, there is more equipment on offer in addition to the subtle stylistic changes made to the exterior.
These updated cars get new front-end styling, side sills, rear bumpers and rear diffusers that look much sharper than on the current cars. The refreshed interior showcases LED ambient lighting and new trim options to join the expanded range of exterior colours and wheel choices. The MMI infotainment system has been upgraded by Audi and is now available with Apple Car Play or Android Auto. The front seats also get heating and electric adjustability and there are now tablets mounted on the seatbacks to keep rear-seat passengers entertained.
These updates are applied not only to the base A6 and A7 models but also to the S6 and S7 performance variants. Audi will not be charging extra for these updates and will continue selling them for the same cost. These updated models are currently on sale only in the European markets but are expected to make it to Indian shores later in the year.
