Audi India has confirmed that the performance-oriented Audi SQ8 will soon arrive in the Indian market, with bookings set to open ahead of its official launch. The high-performance SUV will debut on 17 March, positioning itself between the standard at the sportier RS range.
Globally, the model is powered by a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 petrol engine that produces a substantial 507bhp and 770Nm of torque, paired with an eight-speed automatic gearbox and quattro all-wheel-drive system.
In terms of design, the SQ8 gets visual upgrades over the regular Q8, including a more aggressive front grille, larger air intakes, sportier bumpers, and distinctive 22-inch alloy wheels. Exclusive badging and dual-oval exhaust outlets further enhance its athletic stance. Inside, the SUV features a premium cabin with S-line sports seats, contrast stitching, and Audi’s Virtual Cockpit digital display. Expect high-end materials, ambient lighting, and an extensive suite of technology and comfort features.
With bookings set to begin soon and deliveries expected to follow later in the year, the SQ8 launch will bolster Audi’s aspirational SUV portfolio and attract buyers seeking a blend of performance and luxury in a full-size SUV format.
