The second generation Audi Q7 is expected to be launched soon in the Indian market. As a matter of pleasant surprise, sources have managed to stumble upon its high performance version named SQ7 doing rounds on Indian roads. The power packed SUV is indeed unique in its own sense as it draws power from a diesel unit rather than petrol one that serves its competitors like BMW X5/6 M cars and the Mercedes-AMG GL/ML 63.

Under the hood, the Audi SQ7 gets 4.0-litre V8 twin-turbocharged diesel engine that generates about a massive 430bhp. Features like quad-exhaust tail-pipes bigger bumpers on the front as well as rear give it a unique identity. Being a performance oriented version, the SUV achieved a top speed of about 250km/h due to electronic limiter and does a 0 – 100km/h in just about 5.5 seconds.

It would take a couple of years before the SQ7 is launched in India as the SUV is still due to be launched in international markets. For now, it would just be the second generation Audi Q7 that would be launched in the country sometime soon. Pricing and other details would be known at a later date.
