The Germany based leading luxury car maker Audi will soon be rolling-out its S range of performance cars in the Indian market. The new Audi A6 range will be including the popular S4 and the S6 saloons.
Strategically, the entry of new S range of cars will give an upper hand to Audi over its rivals in the Indian market by bridging the gap between their stock cars and the RS range. While its rivals like Mercedes Benz and BMW India having a major gap between their stock cars and the performance cars (Mercedes’ AMG and BMW’s M range).
Powered by a 3.0-litre supercharged V6 engine, the upcoming S4 will be capable of delivering a peak power of 328bhp. The power packed engine of the car will come incorporated with an optional Quattro all-wheel-drive system.
The S4 and S6 saloons have only a minor difference in terms of cosmetics, while S4 carrying a stiffened and slightly lowered suspension system, along with larger alloy wheels and wider tyres.
