      Audi RS7 Sportback facelift revealed

      After showing glimpse of new RS7 at the 2013 Detroit Motor show, Audi has lifted covers off the tweaked RS7. The new RS7 sports an array of styling changes, modifications have also been made to the exterior and interior front. Front gets a redesigned grille with single frame and signature style black honeycomb present in RS range. LED head lamps are being offered as standard feature. There is an option to opt for distinctive Matrix LED technology that is being offered on the RS7 Sportback with more dark trims. The front of the new RS7 Sportback also gets the turn signals with dynamic display. Minimal changes have been made to the rear of the tweaked RS7, among the notable changes is the redesigned tail lights.

      Audi is offering three optional packages on the new RS7 which include- matt aluminium, gloss black and carbon. Minor tweaks have also been made to the bumper that comes with notable air inlets.

      Step inside the cabin and you will notice the revivified instrument cluster that dons the upgraded air outlet controls of the vezel nozzles, shift paddles placed behind the steering wheel and the Quattro emblem on the instrument panel. Inside the cabin, features like the MMI navigation plus with MMI touch are equipped. The new MMI navigation plus with MMI touch makes use of the new generation modular infotainment platform, the USP of the latter is the proficient graphics processor developed by Nvidia.

      Powering the new RS7 Sportback is the same 4.0 litre V8 direct petrol engine that pumps out a maximum power output of 552 Bhp. Power is transmitted to the Audi’s signature Quattro all-wheel drive system through an eight-speed automatic transmission. The robust engine enables the new RS7 to propel from 0 to 100 kmph within 3.9 seconds and achieves an electronically curbed top speed of 255 Kmph.
