Popular premium automaker Audi has launched the new Q3 in India, which gets fresh mechanical and feature upgrades. The new model is the third launch for Audi this year and is part of 10 new models to be launched this year. The new Q3 2.0-TDI front wheel drive is priced at Rs 34.20 lakh, while the 2.0-TDI Quattro is priced at 37.20 lakh (Ex-showroom, Delhi).
Under the hood, the Audi Q3 with a 2.0 litre TDI front wheel drive that puts out 148bhp of power. The Q3 2.0 TDI quattro engine generates 182bhp of power, which is about 4 per cent more powerful than the previous version. The FWD variant does 0-100 in 9.3 seconds, while the Quattro version does 0-100kmph in 7.9 seconds. Both the engine come mated to updated 7-speed S-tronic transmission.
In terms of design, the new model gets a redesigned bumper that underlines the character of the Audi Q3 that features sharper lines and has a striking shape. The new air inlets in the front bumper give the car a rugged and aggressive character. The panoramic sunroof is now standard on the car as are the 17-inch wheels and LED Headlights with signature LED DRLs. As for the interior, the vehicle now gets front seats with electric adjustment as standard, along with deluxe 2 Zone automatic air conditioner. The Audi Q3 2.0 TDI quattro features sporty aluminium tangent inlays while the Audi Q3 2.0 TDI FWD gets elegant walnut brown inlays.
As for safety, the new Q3 comes loaded with electronic stabilisation program, 6 Airbags and electronic vehicle immobilization device. Speaking of features it comes loaded with - driver information display in colour, hill-start assist and hill descent assist, electromechanical parking brake, folding rear seat back, front and rear centre armrest. Moreover, the new Q3 also gets additional features like parking system plus with reverse camera and cruise control.
