Audi, the premium auto brand, has declared its collaboration with 2013 Delhi Couture Week as an official partner for the leading fashion event of the country. Reportedly, this event is presented by the best designers of the country. The programme is scheduled to be held from July 31 to August 4, 2013 at the Taj Palace Hotel, New Delhi. This partnership is in association with Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI).
Declaring the association, the President of Fashion Design Council of India, Sunil Sethi said, “We are very excited to announce our relationship with Audi India as Associate Partner for the PCJ Delhi Couture Week 2013. They are clearly the No. 1 in their industry like our other stakeholders. This association is truly a celebration of luxury in India.”
It is believed that the partnership between Audi and Fashion Design Council of India will showcase an extra ordinary commitment of quality and an epitome of beauty. Titled as the country's number one luxury car maker, the involvement of Audi India will enhance the value of this fashion event.
Expressing his views on the latest development, the Head of Audi India, Michael Perschke was quoted as saying, “Audi has a strong connection and competence in style and design worldwide, which is clearly stated by the successful models introduced by Audi over a period of time. We are very happy to partner with FDCI for the Delhi Couture Week 2013. Our latest all-new sporty line as part of the Audi 2014 Autumn Collection- Audi R8 V10 plus, Audi RS 5, Audi S6 and Audi TT is designed to be the trend-setter this season. These models not only underline our extraordinary expertise in design and lifestyle but also clearly establishes us as a performance leader.”
Reportedly, guests at the event will experience a preview of German auto maker's exclusively designed brand identity. Also, a strategic association with country's known designer Varun Bahl will add a feather to the hat. An exclusive show of Varun Bahl will be organised by Audi on August 2 at 9:30 pm.
