On 23rd May 2012, the German luxury car manufacturer, Audi declared the release of 'Audi CarLife-Advance', together with Audi finance in the country. The company's A4, A6 and Q5 variants now come with a comprehensive package including the car financing, insurance, service plan and extended warranty.
The Head, Audi India, Michael Perschke, said, “For the first time Audi A4, Audi A6 and Audi Q5 customers can enjoy the benefit of an even lower EMI, comprehensive risk coverage, service plan and extended warranty – all under the Audi CarLife - Advance package which can be paid in easy monthly payments. The market research shows that the Indian market is still premature for leasing and therefore, Audi CarLife - Advance is an innovative solution that can meet all the benefits of leasing along with having the privilege of ownership. We truly believe that this will be proved as a big stride towards world-class experience to our customers.”

The brand with four rings had a good Q1 with 2,831 units being delivered to customers in India during January-April 2012. This marked a remarkable YoY growth for the company at 43 per cent over the same time period during last year which is January-April 2011, when the car maker managed to sell 1986 cars. With a sales figure of 562 models in April 2012, Audi India took a head start with positive hopes for the FY 2012. The April sales figure was an impressive 50 per cent growth over same period last year, which was 375 cars in April 2011.
The domestic portfolio of the German brand includes new Audi A6, Audi A7 Sportback, Audi A8L, Audi Q7, Audi RS5 Coupé, Audi Q5, Audi A4, Audi TT, the super sports car Audi R8 and the Audi R8 Spyder which are sold across the country. Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chandigarh, Chennai, Coimbatore, Delhi South, Delhi West, Kolkata, Ludhiana, Gurgaon, Hyderabad, Indore, Kochi, Mumbai West, Nagpur, Jaipur, Puneand Surat are the major cities where dealers of Audi are located. The car maker has plans to extend its network further in the cities of Bhopal, Lucknow and Mumbai South.
