With the recent developments in the technology and variations in engine performance, Audi is all set to launch its new Audi Sport TT Cup in the coming year. The Audi guys took this step after getting an overwhelming response to the Audi R8 LMS Cup in Asia. They have launched a new and improved racing version of the Audi TT.

Audi TT maintains the same 310 horsepower four-cylinder turbocharged engine just like the on-road TTS model, and also has the same six-speed S-tronic transmission system. The things that they have varied in this racing model include a driver controllable differential mechanism, a brand new aesthetic design, having a great improvement over the aerodynamics of the vehicle, better front splitter, improved rear bonnet, centrally exiting tail pipe and a huge wear ring.

The Audi Sport TT Cup Racing Series is ready for its launch in the race-loving country of Germany. Two races of Audi Sport TT Cup are scheduled to be held in Germany next year for each of the six DTM events. It has also been proposed that six out of twenty four racing seats will be occupied by changing guest drivers from various locations and the remaining eighteen places will embrace the permanent drivers so that the audience is not disappointed by seeing all new faces in the race.

Audi has also proposed astonishing prizes for distribution to the winner of the Audi Sport TT Racing Series which includes support in Audi’s GT3 sports car program and a gradual promotion into the DTM or Audi’s World Endurance Championship which is being seen as a golden opportunity for the participant teams as reaching such a position is not easy in such a competitive world.
