Safety being on priority for major automakers across the globe, scoring full pointers on crash tests is indeed a matter of pride. Two major automakers Audi and Honda have earned 5-star rating in Euro NCAP crash tests. The vehicles were tested on various parameters like adult occupant safety, safety assist, pedestrian protection, frontal offset crash, and child occupant safety.
with the 5-star rating for the Jazz hatchback, it indeed becomes the the second hatchback in its segment to be awarded with maximum rating. The hatchback scored 93% on adult occupant safety, 85% for child occupant safety, 73% for pedestrian safety and 71% for for safety assist feature. Whereas, the Audi A4 has scored 90% for adult occupant safety, 87% for child occupant safety, 75% for pedestrian protection and 75% for safety assist.
The Audi A4 being offered as a premium sedan comes with all the latest safety features like seatbelt reminder for front as well as rear seats, driver-set speed limiter, autonomous emergency braking system and electronic stability control as standard. Both the cars have also been a popular choice in their respective segments in the Indian market.
