Japanese electric carmaker Aspark, is all set to showcase their ‘Owl’ electric supercar next week at the 2017 Frankfurt Motor Show.

Aspark Owl EV accelerates faster to 100kmph than Tesla Model S P100D

The highlight of this EV is that it can hit a 100kmph from standstill in less than two seconds! This inadvertently makes it the quickest accelerating car in the world, outplaying cars like the Tesla Model S P100D and the Bugatti Chiron. Lending a helping hand to these performance figures is the Owl’s carbon-fibre body-shell with reduced overall mass since it is  less than a metre high, besides running on light-weight magnesium alloy wheels.

There’s no doubt that these official renderings make the Owl look more like a track tool. Features like the large front splitter, low profile, big side air-dams, a humungous rear wing and the carbon-fibre diffuser give it a distinct look. Of course, the normal seats, big A-pillar mounted rear-view mirrors and the gullwing doors also give it a road-going car’s appearance. We will have more details once the 2017 Frankfurt Motor Show gets going next week.
