With BOSS being an intermediate commercial vehicle in the 8-15 tonne and the N-Truck will be in the 16-49 tonne gross vehicle weight segment, while Partner will be offered as another LCV. The 7-8 seater Stile, is planned to be launched later this year, was developed by an alliance between Ashok Leyland and Nissan Motor Company. The vehicle will be produced at Nissan's manufacturing unit at Oragadam.

The target for this vehicle are both urban plus rural areas, hotel shuttles, taxi service, ambulance, panel vans, courier services and inter/intra city travel. In specific, the company has aimed to provide enough seating options with 2-3 no. of rows. In order to cater the demands of a large number of buyers, Stile will be made available in both diesel and CNG versions.

When asked about the similarity between Nissan's Evalia and Stile, Ashok Leyland's Vice Chairman V Sumantran replied, “Globally automobile makers have identified the need for common platforms to build vehicles. Evalia is more for personal use whereas Stile is more for commercial use.”

“The venture is not for cross badging of models. There are some customer groups that Ashok Leyland and Nissan Motor can't reach individually but together they can,” added Nissan Motor Company's Executive Vice President Andy Palmer.

According to G.P. Hinduja, the Co-Chairman of Hinduja Group, “Partnership for Growth” is one of the five guiding principles of our Group. In this spirit, we are extremely happy with the way our association with Nissan has grown from strength to strength. Our shared vision and philosophies have found expression in both the products that we have engineered thus far – DOST and Stile. I wish both the Nissan and the Ashok Leyland teams the very best and I am certain that they have brought forth another winner.” To this Carlos Ghosn, CEO, Nissan-Renault Alliance added, “This collaboration has accelerated Ashok Leyland sales and increased Nissan’s economies of scale- while providing customers with unique products specifically tailored to Indian preferences. Our partnership with Ashok Leyland is an obvious ‘win-win-win’ for both companies and the consumer.”
