Taking another step towards making electric vehicles a reality, AMP Holdings Inc., an electric vehicle company, is planning to take the lead at the upcoming Detroit International Auto Show with its new 100% electric Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV).

AMP Holdings Inc., which specialises in electric SUVs, confirmed the plan on Thursday, December 8th, for the international show to be held early next year. Not only will the company showcase the prototype of the new all-electric SUV, but also plans to offer the running concept model at the Ride and Drive Track of the motor show.

Talking about its latest electric offerings, AMP Chief Executive Officer, Jim Taylor says, “The new AMP model is our latest 100% electric offering and a demonstration of our proprietary technology for SUVs, giving a driving range of 100+ miles.”

The new all electric SUV has been designed with an All-American image and is expected to appeal to American car users who are interested to invest in low-emission, zero-carbon vehicles.

The company is optimistic about its new electric SUV and expects a positive response from not only the buyers but industry experts as well. According to Taylor, “Where most EVs are small, compact or sub-compact, our mission is to give our EV buyers vehicles that the greatest percent of the car-buying public prefers. The opportunity to test drive it at the Detroit Show will give visitors a first hand experience of what we have achieved in this state of the art electric SUV ”

AMP's all-electric SUV will be assembled at its new production unit in Ohio, where the company's 100% electric Mercedes Benz ML model will also be manufactured.

The all-electric new SUV from AMP will be making an official debut in January at the 24th edition of the Detroit International Auto Show. With vehicle electrification slowly becoming a reliable substitute for non-renewable energy sources, Detroit Auto Show is the perfect global platform for an electric vehicle company like AMP Holdings Inc. to take the automobile industry into a greener and sustainable future.
