      Amity students storm through eighth leg of Maruti Suzuki Colours of Youth

      It seems that Amity students are enjoying the home advantage as they entered the zonal rounds of 'Maruti Suzuki Colours of Youth 2011'. The leading car manufacturer of India has launched this campaign to identify 'India's most talented youngster'. Students from all engineering and management institutes of the country can partake in this national level competition.

      The event is being held at Amity Global Business School (AGB), Mohali, wherein the performance skills, including singing, dancing, music, stand-up comedy, innovation and quizzing, of all entrants are assesed. It is compulsary that all participants should register themselves in more than one category of performance skills.

      During the eighth stage of the regional rounds, AGB students cleared the leg through an exceptional performance. The winner of the event will be decided through a general awareness quiz that will be held between the finalists.

      With the help of this initiative, Maruti Suzuki gets the ideal opportunity to maintain touch with the youth studying in the professional colleges of India, including B-Schools and engineering colleges. The company has roped in the likes of Subir Malik of popular Indian band Parikrama and Diana Hayden, the international model who was crowned as Miss World in the past, to preside over the event as judges.
