The country’s second largest car maker Hyundai Motors India Limited (HMIL), has launched LPG (liquefied petroleum gas) version of its popular car Hyundai i10 in the Indian market. The car is priced in the range of Rs 416,144 and Rs.430,659 (ex-showroom Delhi). The move of launching LPG variant of the car is taken, following a sharp decrease in demand for petrol run cars due to continuously rising prices of petrol in the country.

The all new Hyundai i10 LPG is powered by a 1.1 Liter IRDE2 engine which can be operated on both LPG and petrol. The LPG kit offered with the car is a factory fitted one and the customers will have an option of choosing one mode from Petrol and LPG mode. The new i10 LPG carries both tank capacity of 35 liters for petrol and 34 liter of LPG. According to the company, the i10 LPG model carries a special LPG tank that offers larger boot space as compared to other LPG kit fitted cars.
