Alfa Romeo’s much anticipated comeback model, the Giulia Quadrifoglio has just been detailed. The brand, in fact, has made the UK prices and specifications official, ahead of the car’s impending launch. The Giulia Quadrifoglio will soon be available in the UK with prices starting at £59,000 (Rs 58.83 lakh).
The Giulia Quadrifoglio is powered by a new 510hp, bi-turbo V6 petrol engine with an 8-speed automatic gearbox as standard. It is capable of sprinting from 0-100kmph in just 3.9 seconds and on to a top speed of over 300kmph. Built around Alfa Romeo’s new rear-wheel drive architecture, the Giulia features short overhangs, a long bonnet, muscular haunches and the longest wheelbase in its segment.
The new Giulia utilises an array of high-strength and lightweight materials including carbon fibre for the driveshaft, aluminium composite and plastic for the rear cross member and aluminium for the doors, wings, engines (petrol and diesel) brakes and suspension.
While the high-performance Giulia Quadrifoglio will be available on sale soon, Alfa Romeo has announced that details of the rest of the Giulia range will be announced closer to the car’s on sale date.
