The upcoming Tata Safari Storme is expected to come laced with a variety of cutting-edge attributes in accordance with a premium product in the SUV segment. The Safari Storme flaunts a huge honeycomb grille and the 'power bulge' on its bonnet catches instant attention of the onlookers. The latest offering from Tata Motors also features prime attributes like projector headlamps, chrome-plated twin exhaust vents and newly designed tailgate among others.

Reportedly, the chassis and suspension of the yet-to-be launched Safari Storme are anticipated to have been built from the same platform of Aria crossover that will ensure the SUV to boast of smooth driving and handling dynamics. The power-mill incorporated in Safari Storme is expected to be of similar build like the one installed in Aria, a 2.2-litre DiCOR diesel engine that delivers a peak power-torque output of 140 bhp and 320 Nm, respectively. Further, the car is anticipated to have all the trimmings of a top class SUV, featuring disc brakes at all ends and the fawned upon Anti-lock Braking System (ABS).

The Indian car enthusiasts are in for a treat as the Tata Safari Storme looks enticing and may pave the way for the fortunes of Tata Motors which for many years have been toiling towards establishing a dominant presence in the domestic market. The Indian passenger car market has been totally dominated by Maruti Suzuki and Korean auto maker Hyundai due to their small car offerings, leaving Tata Motors in the sidelines. The other UV maker Mahindra and Mahindra's fortunes changed with its XUV500, which is termed as the direct competitor of the upcoming safari Storme. Tata Motors' will be keeping its fingers crossed with the yet-to-be launched Safari Storme and must be wishing to carry on the success stories of other Utility Vehicle players like Mahindra and Renault.
