      Abarth Punto launched for Rs 9.95 lakhs

      Fiat has launched the Abarth Punto in India for Rs 9.95 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi). The Punto gets several new exterior features and some changes on the inside too. The Avventura -powered by Abarth- is also launched today. Both these are powered by a 1.4-litre T-Jet engine that produces 145bhp (Punto) and 140bhp (Avventura) of power and come mated to a five-speed manual transmission. There are the 16-inch alloy wheels that are designed by Abarth.Abarth Punto

      The Abarth Punto gets reindeer headlamps with red-coloured ORVMs, chrome plated door handles, stylish Abarth decals, all four disc brakes on the outside. The interiors of this hatchback get rear power windows with auto down, new sporty seat upholstery, electric boot, bluetooth voice connect, bluetooth music streaming, SMS readout, Abarth instrument cluster, rear AC vents and foot lever rear air circulation. There is the Abarth colour stitching in the Punto and this makes it differentiate between the Fiat and the Abarth Punto. There is also the side skirtings also that makes the Abarth stand out in the crowd and one can spot an Abarth Punto in a crowd of cars.

      The Avventura retains the same features, however what new it gets is an engine and b;uetooth audio streaming as well. The Avventura is powered by Abarth and it doesn’t get the Abarth bagging like the Punto, which is already been sting by the Abarth Scorpio. The pricing of the Avventura (powered by Abarth) is also Rs 9.95 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi).
