Would you leave your beloved Mercedes Benz unattended even for a day? In one of incident, a Mercedes Benz S-Class has been left unattended for about three years in Broadway Plaza, Birmingham. The sedan now covered in dust has now accumulated mammoth dues of about £14,235 as parking charges. The Broadway Plaza in Birmingham, charges owners about £13-a-day as parking charges in its multi-storey car park.
Police could not find records of the vehicle being stolen or involved in any crime. The vehicle has been left unlocked with a logbook that reveals details on the driver. Multiple efforts to contact the owner has proved to be futile. The local council has warned that it shall tow away the vehicle in case no one comes forward to claim it within seven days. The vehicle carries a personalized number plate, but its back axle has been badly damaged thereby eliminating a possibility for it being driven away.
