The Porsche Panamera Sport Turismo was spotted testing with light camouflage.
This upcoming Porsche Wagon will cater to those utility-oriented buyers who eye performance while carrying their family and luggage around, and is expected to be introduced at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show next month. Porsche has decided retain the styling for the nose section, however, the rear is characterised by the wagon design, a reworked C-pillar, an obvious quarter glass section, and a conspicuous roof spoiler.
The new car is expected to be powered by the same motors that do duty in the regular Panamera, along with the addition of a hybrid variant. Reports claim that the test car’s green brake calipers and driver’s side fuel filler cap, that’s visible in the pictures, suggest hybrid capability like on the E-Hybrid version. The hybrid powertrain will most likely be the current 2.9-litre V6 biturbo motor which works in tandem with an electric motor that produces 462bhp and 700Nm of torque.
Porsche has revealed that the Panamera Sport Turismo will be available in the USA in the first quarter of 2018, after hitting the European market later this year.
