Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) has made an announcement to start an expedition from Bangalore to Paris, which will be spanning more than 12 countries. It will cover over 15000 kilometres and will be completed in mere 99 days. For the first time, a family has taken up the decision to cover the entire distance in a Fiat Linea T-Jet. L.I.F.E. (Little Indian Family of Explorers) will be taking part in this expedition. It will span over countries like Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, China, Nepal, Iran, Turkey, Italy, Switzerland, France and Spain.
The family who will take part in this journey is Amit Baid, a 38-year old film-maker, educator and animation professional at Native Puppets; Punita Baid, a 36-year old program manager at Native Puppets; Yash Baid, a 12-year old student and a soccer enthusiast and Dhriti Baid, an 8-year old dancer and foreign language enthusiast. The family will go on this voyage aboard their sturdy Fiat Linea.
Fiat Linea T-Jet is powered by a 1368 cc, 16 valve, T-Jet petrol mill, which can generate 114 PS and 207 N at 2200 rpm. The facilities like rain sensing wipers, auto AC and auto headlamps make driving a memorable experience. These features enable to experience the natural beauty even while driving on the challenging roads, which will be common in such a trip.
