Tata Nano, the small wonder from Tata Motors is the most economical production car sold in India. The features it offers at that price makes it a popular choice. Recently, Tata Motors launched an upgraded version of Tata Nano, “2012 Tata Nano” with some aesthetic and performance upgrades. The Nano, with a claimed mileage of 25 kmpl and shortest turning radius of 4m fares really well in everything but still there is something that people have been wishing a lot. It is the diesel version of the Nano.
One can find lots of guesses, speculations and assumptions doing rounds on social mediums and other media franchise about the early launch of 2012 Tata Nano diesel. Many people, going by these reports, have postponed their decision of getting a Tata Nano.
This won’t happen till at least 2012 end festive season of Diwali. Our trusted insiders have revealed that Tata Motors have no plans as yet of launching a diesel variant of Nano anytime soon. The 2012 diesel Tata Nano, however would claim the tag of the most fuel efficient diesel car in India when launched in end 2012.
