Tata Motors had launched the Bolt sometime back and it has been able to maintain the same hype, if not more, as was the case when the Zest was launched in India. The Bolt has received a tremendous response right from the time when it was launched on January 22. However, it has been witnessed that the diesel variant has found more momentum than the petrol model.

Most customers who are looking for the Bolt have found that the safety features have been the prime boosting factors for the hatch. The XMS trim has been one of the best-selling models of the Bolt. The price of this model is 6.99 lakhs INR. The model gets dual airbags as well as ABS for the car. The XMS is equipped with all the necessary features as well as specifications, making it a dream hatch for small families. The XT-trim is steeply priced though, it has some additional features.

The Tata Bolt is powered by a 1248 cc engine, which is capable of producing a maximum of 75 bhp at the rate of 4000 rpm. The torque output of the car is 190 Nm at the rate of 1750 to 3000 rpm. The cargo volume is 210 litres, which makes it quite capacious. With a fuel tank capacity of 44 litres, it makes sure that the car runs long enough for a trip with your family during the weekend.
