Diwali, the festival of lights, starts tomorrow and like all of us, car makers are also planning a blast. So, if you haven’t decided which car to buy as yet, here are six new car launches expected in the coming month that will help you make the choice. And before we start with the list, we wish all our readers a very happy Diwali.

      1. Skoda Rapid facelift – November 3 (Expected Price – Rs 8 lakh to Rs 13 lakh)

The Skoda Rapid is the first one in the line, making its debut just after Diwali. The Rapid now gets the chiselled Skoda family face with a stout grille and angular headlamps. The tail design is also new along with tail lamps and new alloy wheels. The black and beige interior gets the 6.5-inch touchscreen to add to its feature list. The engine and gearbox options will remain the same.

      2. Volvo S90 - November 4 (Expected Price – Rs 50 lakh to Rs 65 lakh)

The Volvo S90 is the new flagship sedan from the Swedish car maker. Replacing the S80, the S90 adopts the new look of Volvo cars that started with the XC90. It gets the upright grille and the Thor hammer headlamps and comes with a slew of features to make you comfortable. And then, the famous Volvo safety net is something you can experience with the S90.

      3. Toyota Fortuner -November 7 (Expected Price – Rs 25 lakh to Rs 32 lakh)

If there had to be a typical Bollywood strongman amongst cars, it has to be the Toyota Fortuner. Largely popular amongst the rich and famous for its size and no-nonsense character, the SUV is set to arrive in its all-new avatar. While the new look is rather edgy for our taste, it would be interesting to see the new engine, feature list and price, especially after the Innova Crysta.

      4. Mercedes-Benz S-Class Cabriolet - November 9 (Expected Price – Rs 2.20 crore to Rs 2.40 crore)

The Mercedes-Benz S-Class is the benchmark for luxury motoring. Taking it further, the S-Class Coupe adds sportiness to the equation. The S-Class Cabriolet adds oodles of style to it and is expected to grace our roads on November 9 after its debut at the Auto Expo 2016. Expect an eight-figure price tag for this beauty.

      5. Mercedes-Benz C-Class Cabriolet - November 9 (Expected Price – Rs 45 lakh to Rs 55 lakh)

We all love convertibles for their beauty and style but more often than not, they turn out to be a bit too far from our reach. So, here is the C-Class Cabriolet, the drop-top version of the C-Class. While it will not still be affordable for most of us, a few can rejoice the three-pointed star’s ‘budget’ cabriolet. To be launched with the S-Cabriolet, the C-Class will join the Audi A3 Cabriolet amongst convertibles.

      6. Hyundai Tucson - November 14 (Expected Price – Rs 18 lakh to Rs 23 lakh)

The Hyundai Tucson was introduced more than a decade ago and was a successful premium compact SUV much before it started trending. The Tucson is making its comeback and will once again lure Indian customers with its premium looks, fluidic styling and Hyundai’s famous equipment list and will be positioned above the Creta.
