The Parx Super Car Show was conceptualized and organized by Mr. Gautam Singhania about three years ago, in April 2009. The first-of-its-kind show was organized to provide auto aficionados and general public the opportunity to see some of the best super cars in India. Some of the most popular super cars in India are Ferraris, Lamborghinis, Porsches, Ariel Atom, Bentleys, Rolls Royces, BMWs and Mercedes, to mention a few.

Mr. Gautam Singhania is also the Founder & Chairman of the Super Car Club (SCC), which he started in June 2009 along with Mr. Hormazd Sorabjee, Managing Editor of Autocar India.

According to Mr. Gautam Singhania, who is claimed to be one of India’s pioneering super car enthusiasts, “The Parx Super Car Show series could be said to have triggered the interest for super cars in India, not just amongst auto enthusiasts but also among the common man. In 2009 when we started the Club, we saw that interest in super cars was driven predominantly by individual passion. Today, within three years, we are witnessing a growing drive amongst super car owners to participate in similar format shows, and a larger following of auto enthusiasts who are tracking the growth of SCC and its events in various cities. Such growing interest in super cars in India is very encouraging. To cater to this interest this year, we have more than 80 super cars participating in the show.”

Mr. Hormazd Sorabjee, Editor of Autocar India, commented that “As India’s leading auto magazine, it is our endeavor to create such experiences for car enthusiasts and we are delighted that the Parx Super Car Show in only its fourth year has grown dramatically.”

Furthermore, Mr. Gautam Singhania stated that “We are receiving innumerable requests from proud owners of super cars across India to organize similar shows in their respective cities. We hope to grow the Parx Super Car Show from strength to strength and take it across many cities in India as possible, thus strengthening our connect with other super car enthusiasts across the country.

This growing interest for super cars in India is also reflected in the increasing number of super car manufacturers entering the country and the F1 track that is now coming up in Noida.”

INK Infrastructure is the title sponsor of this super car show and talking about this association, Mr. Imtiaz Khatri, Proprietor of INK Infrastructure, happily stated that “I'm glad to announce our company - Ink group's association with the Parx Car Show. It is an honor to be a part of this one of its kind event. I am sure this association will help us to reach new heights, literally."

NV Group is the associate sponsor of the show and speaking about the association Mr. Varun Jain, Director of NV Group and a super car aficionado, said, “NV, as a brand believes in encouraging a good life. Super cars are a testimony of high living and a passion for speed. This association with the SCC, is now beyond just my personal interest in super cars. We are also trying to promote through this show our belief in driving responsibly.”

Speaking about the show, Mr. Kamlesh Rao, Business Head, Privy League, Kotak Mahindra Bank was quoted as saying “This super car show is a perfect platform for our elite clients to network. We believe they would find value in the interactions, with the world’s best super cars as the backdrop.”
